Experience of Space – Landscape in Photography @ Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina, in Novisad, Serbia
Happy
to announce my new exhibition project in collaboration with Steve Bisson and Ljubica
Milovic Mastilovic and Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina, in
Novisad, Serbia
From 2nd to 26th September 2014
Exhibition features photographs by David Pollock, Dusan Rajic, Dustin Shum, Geoffroy Mathieu, photographies, Jordi Huisman Photography, Juan Margolles, Mustafah Abdulaziz, Paolo Fusco, Ryan Debolski and Sergio Rolando.
The exhibition “Experience of Space – Landscape in Photography” is conceived as one of the possible prisms for the representation of the personal experience of space, the personal landscape in photography. A careful selection of photographic projects, completed by the essays of Natalya Reznik and Gary Green, should clearly highlight the plurality of perceiving a landscape and the multiple understanding of means through which experiences are documented and transferred; the cycle in which the interpretations of what is seen follow each other and overlap, until a person’s actual everyday world becomes an image: the accumulation of meanings which represents a specific cultural capital.

landscape workshop's exhibition @ Fondazione Benetton, coming soon
OPENING SATURDAY 30th NOVEMBER, h. 18.30
I'm preparing my next exhibition in the prestigious venue of Fondazione Benetton about the "landscape and photography" workshop.
Urbanautica with the sponsorship of Fondazione Benetton organized last december the ‘Photography and Landscape’ Workshop, to investigate and highlight, with the help of eleven international photographers, some of the axioms of the relationship between ‘man-nature-landscape’.
The widespread use of photography and images as a means of representation and communication of the environment stimulates questions and invites further study. The prevailing if not the domain of the language of images in contemporary society is not without intrinsic pitfalls.
Featuring: David Pollock, Mitch Karunaratne, Ruben Alonso, Kirsten Trippaers, Luca Capuano, Giuseppe De Mattia, Laura De Marco, David Wilson, Corrado Piccoli, Cristian Guizzo, Milo Montelli.
The exhibition will be open next december.
Special thanks to Steve Bisson and Andrea Filippin of Urbanautica.
